It’s very rare to leave a review for a company one hasn’t had a service from, but in the case of Becker Trees you will see why.
I wanted the company to quote for lowering the height of a tree and also give it a general tidy up.
Nick came to my property to assess the work – and rather than give a quote, he explained why what I’d asked for was not necessary. He was very knowledgeable about the type of soil, the type of tree and how it would grow in the future.
Since I’d had a quote of £600 from another tree surgeon, I was surprised not to get a quote.
I wanted to leave a review to recognise this firm’s integrity.
I have just had the trees and bushes pruned back in my garden and a dead silver birch tree removed by Becker Tree Services.
I was very satisfied with the service provided and the willingness and friendliness of the two people doing the job, Adam and Kieren.
They did the work efficiently and did a good job of clearing up after themselves.

Removed a huge ancient plum tree and thinned out three others, all in the space of a couple of hours. Cleaned up thoroughly.

Nick came and gave us some very helpful advice and a quote for felling a large Conifer tree. He also sent through a quote for Crowning two other trees that were getting out of hand. The quotations where very competitve and much cheaper than other quotes but it was the knowledge and professionalism that sealed the deal.
A date was set and a friendly team of three turned up on time and worked on the tree for two days, taking it down to a stump with all rubbish cleared and taken away. They were all very friendly and well worth the tea and biscuits we supplied regularly!
A week later a team of two came back and carried out a fantastic job on the two trees that needed work with neighbours saying how good the job looked. These trees had been pruned and cut back before very badly and it was obvious that the team knew exactly waht they were doing leaving the trees ready to bloom next year and grow back. Seeing the work one neighbour asked them to carry out work on their tree which they kindly fitted in on the same day again, with all rubbish removed.
Overall I could not fault the service from Nick and all I dealt with at Becker Trees and as I have quite a few trees in the garden, will most definitely be using them again.
